Birth Control - Implanon

Yesterday after almost 3 weeks of being sick, I finally gave in to see Dr Huda at seksyen 4 BBBangi.  Love her ever so dearly.  Best doctor in my book at least.  After being told that my throat is bad, and my lung dah makin sempit, etc, dah dapat ubat etc, I asked to be inserted with Implanon as my birth control option.

Now why Implanon? In all honesty, it was my last choice really.  I have been a fan of IUCD.  I used the copper one after the first baby.  After my second, I chose Mirena (hormonal IUCD) for 5 years.  Rupanya mahal Mirena ni, cecah ribuan.  Didnt know that until the time I wanted it removed.  Doctor tanya baru 2 tahun setengah, kenapa nak tanggal? Mahal, tak rugi ke? ehehehe.. When I inserted the Mirena, I was in UK.  In UK, all types of birth controls are free.  So I takdela rasa rugi.  After the third I thought of using Mirena again, mahal pun mahal ah...unfortunately it's not advisable sbb dah 3 orang.  Banyak je case yg org pakai IUCD but still pregnant their number 4-5-6 huhu.  So, I opted injection.  2 kali je..MALAS, asyik nak kena gi klinik every 3 months. Then tried pills..only 2 months I managed to follow diligently..lagi 2 months, fail. So I knew I cannot be counted on with pills.. so there you go...LAST CHOICE IMPLANON.

I have read reveiews on the negative side of implanon..Among which are mood swings, prolonged periods and the one that I fear most is WEIGHT GAIN.  Not that I am so worried coz I have PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL with me as my GUARDIAN. But the fact that I am still trying to loose weight after gaining few kgs, it still raises as a concern. Nevertheless I am still positive that I can shed the weight off.

Even with Eid Adha celebration,  I am glad that I have loose some weight with the help of PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL and of course my LACTOLITE. Please note that although I was sick, I still have appetite to eat. I used Lactolite to flush it off..So we will see in my next writing as to whether I have GAINED because Implanon OR LOOSE weight due to diet, PREMIUM BEAUTIFUL and LACTOLITE.  Can't  wait..
